Hi, I’m Alan Leifker, founder of Sim Race City.

Sim Race City was created from my passion for sim racing, motorsports, gaming, and the technology that brings racing into our homes. What started as an interest in building better sim racing setups grew into a desire to create a place where racers of every experience level can learn about equipment, discover new products, and build the sim rig they’ve always wanted.

I know how overwhelming sim racing can be when you’re getting started. There are countless steering wheels, direct-drive wheelbases, pedals, cockpits, seats, shifters, handbrakes, computers, displays, haptic systems, and motion platforms to choose from. Figuring out what works together—and what is actually worth your money—isn't always easy.

That’s one of the reasons I created Sim Race City.

My goal is to make Sim Race City a trusted resource for the sim racing community. Whether you're building your very first setup or upgrading to a high-end direct-drive racing simulator, I want to help you understand the technology and make better decisions about your equipment.

I have a particular interest in high-performance sim racing equipment from manufacturers such as Asetek SimSports, Gomez Sim Industries (GSI), Simtrecs, Next Level Racing, and other companies pushing sim racing technology forward.

But Sim Race City isn't only about the equipment.

It's about the experience.

There is something special about climbing into a simulator, putting your hands on the wheel, feeling the force feedback come alive, and competing wheel-to-wheel with racers from around the world. Modern simulators such as iRacing have made it possible for everyday racing enthusiasts to experience competition that would have been unimaginable only a few years ago.
