Return and Refurbished Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. However, return shipping costs are not covered in our refund policy. Furthermore, a 15% restocking fee will apply to any and all open box items that are being returned to Sim Race City warehouse.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, as new condition with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start the return process, you can contact us at info@simracecity.com If your return is accepted, you will have the responsibility to select your preferred carrier, prepare the items for shipment and hand them off to your carrier. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items custom/complete Simulators-Rigs) can unfortunately not be returned nor refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Shipping on exchanged items is not covered by SRC. It is the responsibility of the customer to cover shipping both ways.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

SRC Renewed-Open Box Guarantee:

We want you to shop with confidence and be fully satisfied with your purchase on SRC's Renewed. That's why SRC in the Renewed program back applicable products with the SRC Renewed Guarantee.  All of our renewed products have been renewed-refurbished by factory trained technicians and returned to factory specifications. We reserve the right to decline a return or refund if we determine that the SRC Renewed Guarantee is being abused.

The SRC Renewed Guarantee gives you:

  •  Guarantee - if your renewed product does not function as the factory has intended, and you return the product within 30 days of receipt.  We will offer you a full refund or a replacement renewed product. Replacement option may not be available for every item depending on inventory. 
  • Quick support for claims and free troubleshooting for 60 days via a single point of contact at SRC.
  • 90 day to one year warranty. Depending on renewed condition. 
  • Open box will have remaining manufactures warranty. 

SRC's Renewed Guarantee Coverage:

The SRC Renewed Guarantee is applicable on select Renewed products, where specifically mentioned on the product information page. If your purchase-product does not function as the factory has intended, return the product within 30 days of receipt of your original purchase date for a full refund or a replacement. Please see below for restrictions.

Theft, injury, accidental damage and tampering with the device is not covered under the guarantee. You must perform a factory-reset to remove personal data before returning the product and contact SRC for an RMA number. If these steps aren't performed, the device won't qualify for a replacement or refund. 

Theft, injury, accidental damage and tampering with the device in any way is not covered under SRC's Renewed guarantee.

You will need to return your item at your cost. Furthermore, a 15% restocking fee will apply to any renewed-refurbished items that are being returned for refund to the Sim Race City warehouse.

SRC-K2PI5 is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in return shipping. 

After we receive your return, we will determine if a refund or a replacement is warranted. You may be contacted by a support specialist be discuss your options. 

If you encounter any problems with your item within 30 days of receipt of your original purchase, SRC's customer service associates can help you troubleshoot those problems via phone or chat. You can reach a dedicated SRC customer service associate from "Your Orders" page or at sales@k2pi5.com. 

Renewed Condition: 

All of our renewed products have been refurbished by factory trained technicians and have been returned to factory working order. These products at the very least have been taking out of the box and handled to being installed and used everyday. The products will show signs of handling to everyday use. 

A) Open box with all factory accessories, will come in original box, possibly minor scrapes-scratches and wear marks from handling. Will be updated at the time of purchase the newest firmware and will have the newest updates to the hardware. Functions as intended.  

  • One year warranty.

B) All accessories included, may or may not come in original box, will have minor scrapes- scratches and wear marks from use that are visible. Will be updated at the time of purchase to the newest firmware.  Functions as intended.

  • One year warranty.

C) May have aftermarket accessories that are factory approved, scrapes-scratches and wear marks will be visible from any angle. Will be updated at the time of purchase to the newest firmware. Functions as intended.

  • 90 day warranty. 

One-Year-90 day Limited Warranty for SRC Renewed Products and Accessories

If you purchased your SRC Renewed Device or Accessory (the “Device”) from simracecity.com or from an authorized resellers located in the United States, the Warranty for the Device is provided by K2 Partners Investment 5 LLC 2022 South Crockett St, Sherman TX 75090. United States. The renewed items purchased from SRC are not warranted by Asetek SimSports. 

K2 Partners Investment LLC-K2PI5 LLC, SRC, Sim Race City is not liable for misuse or neglect or the results of an injury or any injury while using the renewed product.  Read all safety warnings on the factory website. The provider of this warranty is sometimes referred to herein as "we." SRC, Sim Race City, or K2PI5 LLC, K2 Partners Investment 5 LLC.

When you purchase a new or Certified Refurbished Device, we warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year or 90 days, depending on the device class from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement device for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and Devices for which a refund is given shall become our property. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the Device that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire, alteration, or damage from any third-party repair, third-party parts, commercial use, injury to the customer or any user or other external causes.

Instructions. For specific instructions about how to obtain warranty service for your Device, please contact Customer Service. In general, you will need to deliver your Device in either its original packaging or in equally protective packaging to the address specified by Customer Service. Before you deliver your Device for warranty service, it is your responsibility to remove any removable storage media and back up any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on your Device. It is possible that such storage media, data, software or other materials will be destroyed, lost or reformatted during service, and we will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.

Limitations. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES, AND WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF WE CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG A STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. IN SOME JURISDICTIONS THE FOREGOING LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSSLY NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS "LIMITATIONS" SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO CUSTOMERS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR EUROPEAN UNION.

This limited warranty gives you specific rights. You may have additional rights under applicable law, and this limited warranty does not affect such rights.
